Please read and understand this entirely before proceeding with this update!
This program will update the PPC Exceptions plug-in for Norton CrashGuard. This plug-in can be found in the Norton CrashGuard Folder which is located in the Extensions Folder inside your System Folder.
Before updating your copy of Norton CrashGuard please restart your Macintosh and hold down the shift key during startup. After you have completed the update restart your Macintosh normally.
This updater is for installed versions of Norton CrashGuard and is NOT to be used to update versions on locked, original installation floppies. This updater will only work with U.S. and international English versions of Norton Utilities for Macintosh 3.5.
What's Fixed
• Fixes an issue with Connectix Virtual PC 1.0 where CrashGuard would report an "Unknown trap type exception (Debugger/DebugStr)" whenever Virtual PC was launched.
• Resolves a conflict with Netscape Commmunicator 4 where CrashGuard would report an "Unknown trap type exception (Debugger/DebugStr)" when viewing Java pages.
• Improves general reliability with applications that install their own exception handler.
